Giri gave his first concert under the Auspices of Sri Kapali Fine Arts in youth talent promotion festival at Sreenivasa Sastry Hall in 1991.  (Courtesy : Sri. Sundararaman).  The concert was covered by The Hindu’s Friday review.  Subsequently, he sang in all leading sabhas in the city like,

• Sri Thyaga  Brahma Gana Sabha
• The Mylapore Fine Arts Club
• Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Sabha
• Nungambakkam Cultural Academy
• Papanasam Sivan Sangeetha Sabha to name a few and so on.

He also performed in other sabhas like Ganamukundhapriya, Sriragam Fine Arts, Padma Sarangapani Cultural Academy, TTD Information Centre, The Malayalee Club, Ramana Kendra, Mahathi Academy of Music & Dance, Otthukkadu Venkatakavi Trust, etc.

Apart from this, he has also given concerts across India like, Delhi Tamil Sangam, Music Appreciation Centre, New Delhi, Naadalaya Pravah Academy of Music, Thrissur, Kerala, R.T. Nagar Culture Association, Bangalore, Sangeetha Samajam, Ongole, A.P., and the list continues interestingly.  Giri regularly sings in Sathguru Sri Thyagabrahma Aradhana, Thiruvaiyaru.
